NEW ULTIMATE BBQ BURGER
BBQ SEASON IS HERE 








For the launch of the New KFC Ultimate BBQ Burger we wanted to flip the archetypal images of BBQ Season, by depicting the reality of that Season in Britain, a time of the year that’s often heavy with rainfall and couldn’t be further away from the idyllic blue skies and endless sunny weather portrayed by most brands.

 
Instead, we decided to elevate the reality of the weather known to most in Britain, by creating a joyous film that actually celebrates the rain and champions the inner pleasure of a great BBQ burger, come rain, or come rain.

The cinematic TV spot directed by Sam Pilling in London and featured huge rain and wind machines and a charming inflatable ice cream cone.

For flyposters and OOH we photographed a series of KFC neon store front reflected in puddles in streets across the UK to champion a rainy British BBQ Season.
